When it was introduced in 1959, the half-car, half-truck El Camino was based on the full-size Chevy platform. By the time it moved to the CHEVELLE platform in '64 it was becoming downright muscular. For 1966, the El Camino was available with the big block 396 c.i. engine, making it a truck that could do any job in a hurry.
Features include:
•Beautifully reproduced 396 cu. inch engine with a 4 barrel carb
•Choice of stock or custom vinyl tires with realistic tread
•Stock wheels or custom wheels with chrome plating
•Optional California style custom graphic decals
•Illustrated assembly instructions
