When first introduced in 1964, the Chevelle was intended to be a mild-mannered car, the first for Chevy in the newly created mid-size range. 1970 marked the high point in the Chevelle's history as a muscle car, when a new 454 cubic inch engine was made available in two versions-the LS-5, putting out 365 horsepower and the rare LS-6, which developed an outrageous, frame-twisting 450 ponies.
Features include:
•Easy snap-together assembly, no gluing or painting needed
•Highly detailed chassis and interior
•Custom chrome wheels and rolling vinyl tires
•Optional custom peel 'n stick graphic decals
•Illustrated assembly instructions
